Prof. Petr Musílek is a new member of the Presidium of the PAOB

Prof. Petr Musílek is a new member of the Presidium of the Public Audit (PAOB). He was appointed to the Presidium with effect from 1. 8. 2019 for six years. He works as Vice-Rector for Science and Research of the University of Economics (since April 2014). He graduated from the University of Economics in Prague, in a field of Finance, where he later became a lecturer and professor. During the years 2000 - 2003 and 2006 - 2014, he was Vice-Dean for Science and Doctoral Studies at the Faculty of Finance and Accounting. He was a member of the Czech Science Committee for Social Sciences and a member of the Presidium of the Czech Securities Commission. He is currently a member of the Scientific Board of the Czech Banking Association and a member of the Appeals Committee of the Czech National Bank. He specializes in capital markets, investment banking and financial regulation. He is the author and co-author of 15 monographs and textbooks and more than 70 articles in Czech and foreign professional journals and conference Anthologies.
